The Danish Motorcycle Museum in Stubbekøbing is a mecca for all motorcycle enthusiasts and everyone with a heart for radio and television.

All through the years the museum has hosted numerus exhibitions, that show the rich history of motorcycles and radios, and their significance for society. In 2023 there are, yet again, exciting news in our exhibition calendar, when the museum invites you to a special exhibition dedicated to Laverda, the sixties touring life, motor author Villy Poulsen, children’s motorcycles and the 10 design theses of Dieter Rams.

Laverda was one of the leading manufacturers of motorcycles in the sixties, and the exhibition includes a couple of the iconic models.

The special exhibition on sixties touring life is a must-see for all, who have themselves been touring or has an interest in more primitive camping life of the past.


But the special exhibition does not stop here
In order to celebrate children’s fascination of motorcycles, the museum will also host an exhibition of children’s motorcycles.

There are also good news for motorcycle enthusiasts. The museum will present a selection of motor author Villy Poulsen’s authorship in form of books and magazines. Villy Poulsen was a recognized danish motor writer with more than 50 years’ experience in the industry, and his contribution will give visitors a unique insight into his versatile life and authorship.

And finally the museum will present the 10 design theses of Dieter Rams. Dieter Rams is a German Industrial Designer who worked for Braun in the sixties, and who has been a great inspiration to many Designers all over the world.
